We’re Hiring: Senior AWS Back-End Engineer (Technical Lead)Pune | HybridImmediate Joiners PreferredWe’re looking for a highly experienced, hands-on Senior AWS Back-End Engineer to serve as the Technical Lead for an agile squad. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role within a large enterprise platform, with opportunities to rotate across teams and broaden your expertise.As a Technical Lead, you will:- Lead and mentor a squad of 3–4 engineers (including Lead Developers and Senior Developers). - Work closely with six cross-functional teams within a scaled agile environment. - Design, develop, and deploy modern, scalable cloud-native applications. - Build microservices that integrate with Databricks as a Data Lake and consume data products. - Backend & Cloud: Node.js, TypeScript, AWS CloudFront, S3, Aurora PostgreSQL - Frontend & Frameworks: React.js, Next.js, Stencil.js - Integration: REST APIs, Auth0 - Data: Databricks - Tools: Jira, ConfluenceExperience & Expertise- 10+ years of back-end development experience. - 8+ years of cloud-native development using AWS. - Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage 3–4 Lead/Senior Developers. - Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and REST API development. - Experience with AWS CloudFront, S3, Aurora PostgreSQL. - Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems. - Familiarity with React.js, Next.js, and Auth0 authentication workflows. - Experience working in agile environments using Jira and Confluence. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Responsibilities- Lead technical design, architecture discussions, and development. - Develop, optimize, and maintain REST APIs to support multiple services and applications. - Ensure high-quality code, performance, and scalability. - Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, product, and platform teams. - Drive best practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement.If you're passionate about building modern cloud-native platforms and ready to lead from the front — we’d love to hear from youApply at poonam.m@thoughtquad.com
