Job Overview We are seeking a competent CSSD Technician to join our team at Spandana Hospital. This is a full-time, mid-level position based in Bangalore Urban, Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience in sterilization processes and medical equipment maintenance. The role is crucial in ensuring that all medical equipment and instruments are safe and fit for use, adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and safety.


  • Qualifications and Skills Proficient in sterilization techniques and procedures to ensure medical tools and equipment are bacteria-free (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience in medical equipment maintenance to ensure all apparatuses are functioning correctly (Mandatory skill).
  • Ability to manage inventory efficiently, ensuring that all necessary equipment is available and inventoried (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong understanding of infection control procedures to prevent contamination and infection spread within the hospital.
  • Experience in quality assurance to maintain the hospital's standards in sterilization and equipment handling.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to accurately execute sterilization processes and maintain records.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with medical staff and management professionally.
  • A strong team player who can work collaboratively with the CSSD team and other departments.


  • Roles and Responsibilities Perform daily tasks of cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment using approved techniques.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain functionality of sterilization equipment to ensure reliability.
  • Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes, inventory transactions, and equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to understand specific equipment needs and supply sterilized instruments in a timely manner.
  • Implement infection control procedures to eliminate cross-contamination risks.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure adherence to hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage inventory, keeping track of sterilization supplies and placing orders when necessary to maintain stock levels.
  • Participate in training and continuous education to stay updated on the latest sterilization technologies and techniques.
