We are seeking a talented individual to join our Sales Enablement team at Mercer. This role will be based in Gurgaon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.


Specialist – Proposals (Infosec process)


The incumbent in this role will ensure world-class service delivery to the clients globally. Support security assessment for clients, assisting the management of their day to day needs and use of the tool, as well as performing administrative tasks when clients decide to outsource payroll and provider processes to us. The role will focus on ensuring that administration from the technical platform (tool) supports the delivery of the clients benefit package in an efficient way, as well as supporting the client to answer any individual queries raised by specific employees or 3rd party providers. The incumbent in this role should have an understanding of the company strategy and the importance of their role in achieving the company targets and client satisfaction scores.


We will count on you for:

Shift time – 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM

  • Ability to support a close working relationship with the client that requires a clear understanding of the client’s requirements in the context of their business structure, expectations and preferred way of working.
  • Develop Knowledge and understanding of MMC Global Technology and Cyber Security policies
  • Triage: Act as a primary owner of reviewing request form in detail and work assignment within the team by ensuring detail analysis of request forms
  • Participate in peer review exercise ensuring quality and accuracy of responses
  • Work with Technology owners for application specific responses and create ASRQs
  • Handle follow ups from client managers and organize evidence and audit session by gathering correct SMEs
  • Build in depth knowledge of MMC policies including but not limited to MMC/MGTI network, Security organization, Physical security, BCP planning, Handling Information appropriately, HR policies, Compliance and Privacy etc.
  • Active contribution in creating additional information resources/repository
  • Ensuring process documents are up to date and approved from stakeholders
  • Understand and support the management of clients classified as ‘at risk’

What you need to have:

  • Graduation / post-graduation in any stream
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a large professional organization
  • Experience of working in a customer facing environment (Preferably Healthcare / Insurance / Retirement).
  • Knowledge of Privacy and compliance frameworks
  • Intermediate Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge on Quality tools like Six Sigma, Lean and Kaizen are good to have.
  • Must have a strong appreciation and experience in knowledge transfer efforts and transition of processes.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and a real desire to achieve results
  • Strong ability to deal with difficult calls, both from vulnerable customers and those complaining
