Job Description and Responsibilities :

  • Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs
  • Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
  • Planning the team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities.
  • Setting up tools and required infrastructure
  • Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
  • Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.
  • Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs
  • Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
  • Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
  • Incidence management and root cause analysis
  • Coordination and communication within the team and with customers
  • Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
  • Mentoring and guiding the team members
  • Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs
  • Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer
  • Deploy updates and fixes to both production and pre-production environment
  • Provide Level 2 technical support
  • Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
  • Develop scripts to automate visualization
You are a perfect fit, if you have :
  • Bring 1+ years of DevOps engineering and Service delivery experience, with a strong background in CI/CD and Containersation.
  • Designing and delivering automated solutions for CI & CD into a cloud environment like Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure etc.
  • Demonstrable experience with DevOps tools like Maven, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, UrbanCode, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of Cloud Services on different Cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure and DigitalOcean.
  • Deep working knowledge of toolchains such as GitHub, BitBucket, Jenkins, Chef/Ansible, and cloud deployments.
  • Hands-on experience in testing Cloud and Web applications.
  • Solid understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing and Working in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Design DevOps pipeline and necessary cloud and tool infrastructure.
  • Develop/Suggest necessary monitoring tools that ensure automatic scaling
  • Proficient with git and git workflows
  • Good knowledge of Shell Scripting or Ruby or Python
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse and distributed product teams in an agile environment.

  • Postgres, MongoDB, MySQL, Cassandra: SQL & NOSQL database
  • Gradle/ Maven: Java Build Tool
  • AWS/ Azure/ GCP: Public Cloud Platform
  • DNS, DHCP, Email, Linux: Administrative Tools
  • Python/ Shell/ Ruby: Scripting Language
