Who we're looking for

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for automating, optimising, and streamlining our development, deployment, and infrastructure processes. As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to enhance our systems' architecture, reliability, scalability, and performance.


Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.
  • Cloud Services Management: Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS) to ensure cost-effectiveness, scalability, and security.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications to improve scalability, resilience, and deployment efficiency.
  • Security: Implement and enforce security best practices across infrastructure and applications, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management.
  • Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance and support. Document systems, processes, and configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.
  • Troubleshooting and Incident Response: Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and application issues in a timely manner. Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities as needed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure such as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Experience with designing cloud architecture.
  • Proficiency in Containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
