Key Responsibilities / Functions:

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans that align with the organization's goals.
  • Collaborate with the Marmon Group companies’ procurement department all over the world to identify new sourcing opportunities.
  • Recruit, develop, and oversee employees within the sourcing department.
  • Analyze and calculate procurement costs, devising strategies for cost reduction.
  • Examine spend data and create reports to aid decision-making.
  • Monitor and report on cost savings and value creation initiatives.
  • Make purchasing decisions informed by cost analysis, scenario analysis, and market trends.
  • Maintain strategic sourcing relationships and develop robust partnerships. Negotiate contracts with key suppliers, covering costs, terms of supply, service, and quality.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, and marketing, to understand sourcing needs.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
  • Support costing teams in their negotiations with local suppliers and service providers.

Support the Quality Assurance team to facilitate product quality, safety, and improvements
