Role : VAPT Engineer (L2/L3)As a Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting advanced security assessments to identify vulnerabilities in enterprise IT infrastructures, web applications, cloud environments, and network systems. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening the organization's security posture by simulating real-world attack scenarios, analyzing risks, and providing actionable remediation guidance.Key Responsibilities :- Perform comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration tests across multiple platforms including web applications, APIs, networks, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and mobile applications.- Utilize industry-standard tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit, Qualys, OWASP ZAP, and custom scripts for vulnerability discovery and exploitation.- Develop and execute detailed test plans and methodologies aligned with compliance requirements (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR).- Analyze security findings, prioritize risks, and create clear, comprehensive technical reports and executive summaries for stakeholders.- Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to support remediation efforts.- Stay current with the latest attack vectors, vulnerabilities, exploits, and security trends.Mentor junior VAPT engineers and contribute to improving penetration testing methodologies and tools.Required Skills & Experience:- 4-8 years of hands-on experience in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and security auditing.- Strong knowledge of web application security, network protocols, cryptography, authentication mechanisms, and cloud security.- Experience with container security and cloud-native environments is a plus.- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, CISSP, or CREST are preferred.
