Responsibilities :

- Manage, monitor, and maintain approximately 25 SQL Server clusters.

- Implement and maintain database security policies that align with company standards.

- Perform data modeling and optimize database performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning.

- Develop and implement strategies for database recovery and backup, as well as disaster recovery plans.

- Work closely with IT project managers, database operatros, and application programmers.

- Document the company's database environment and ensure all compliance regulations are met.

- Assist in the design and deployment of new database architectures.

Additional info

Administering automated workflow tools, middleware application servers (i.e., Oracle Weblogic, IBM WebSphere), providing J2EE application deployment.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree, Information Technology, or related field.

- Strong experience as a DBA with extensive experience in managing SQL Server environments.

- Professional certifications in Microsoft Certified: Microsoft Database Administrator Associate or equivalent SQL Server certifications.

- Profound knowledge of logical DBA operations and activities.

- Experience in Database ETL activities, reporting, and MS SQL Cluster management. Responsibilities include monthly optimization, incident response, and MACD activities.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).

- Experience in managing large-scale database projects.

- Advanced knowledge of SQL coding and optimization techniques.
