Role Overview :


As a QA Lead at ACE Online, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will lead the software quality assurance lifecycle within Agile processes, design and implement test strategies, and develop robust automation frameworks. Your expertise will drive the enhancement of our testing processes and contribute to delivering top-notch educational solutions to our users.


Key Responsibilities :


Leadership & Management : Lead and manage the software quality assurance lifecycle, ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies.


- Oversee the execution of automated UI and functional tests on various devices and emulators.


Test Strategy Development : Design and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases to ensure thorough testing of software features and functionalities.


- Define and implement metrics to assess test effectiveness, efficiency, and overall product quality.


Automation Frameworks : Develop, maintain, and enhance mobile, UI, and API test automation frameworks.


- Ensure that automation aligns with in-sprint development cycles and improves overall quality.


Issue Tracking & Reporting :


- Review daily test results, identify issues, and report them efficiently. Track issues through to resolution and ensure timely updates to the development team.


CI Flows :


- Enhance and maintain continuous integration (CI) flows.


- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI pipelines.


Task Management :


- Manage multiple testing tasks simultaneously, ensuring alignment with company business priorities and deadlines. Identify areas where automation can further enhance quality and efficiency.


UI & System Review :


- Review product user interfaces to ensure they conform to design guidelines.


- Implement object-oriented automation systems and evaluate system performance.


Data & Tools Management :


- Utilize tools and technologies such as Selenium, Appium, REST API testing, TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber.


- Employ version control tools like Git and CI tools such as Jenkins.


- Demonstrate strong knowledge of SQL and MongoDB scripts and understand JSON and XML data formats.


Required Skills and Experience :


Experience :


- Minimum of 5 years in software development and QA automation with strong programming skills in Java.


- Previous experience as an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) is essential.


Tools & Technologies :


- Proficiency in Selenium, Appium, REST API testing, and frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.


- Experience with Git, Jenkins, and JIRA for version control and CI/CD processes.


Automation Expertise :


- Hands-on experience with in-sprint automation and maintaining automation frameworks.


- Understanding of microservice architecture features and familiarity with Xcode.


Database Knowledge :


- Strong SQL and MongoDB scripting skills.


Standards & Practices :


- Participate in defining quality engineering methodologies and tooling.


- Demonstrate high accountability for meeting commitments and deadlines.
