Job Overview: We are looking for a talented Business Analyst with expertise in Hadoop technologies and a strong background in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring optimal use of data resources to drive banking operations and decision-making. As a Business Analyst, you will work alongside cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities:- Gather and document business requirements related to banking operations, including data processing, reporting, and analytics needs.- Analyze and interpret large volumes of data using Hadoop and related technologies to uncover insights that support business objectives.- Collaborate with data engineers and developers to translate business needs into technical specifications.- Design data models and optimize existing data structures to improve data quality and accessibility.- Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.- Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.- Educate stakeholders on Hadoop technology and its applications in banking. Key Skills & Competencies:- Strong knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Pig, Spark, etc.) and its application in data analytics.- Experience with data mining, data modeling, and data visualization tools.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Requirements: Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking or financial services domain.- Proficiency in Hadoop technologies and a solid understanding of the banking industry.- Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (e., Tableau, Power BI).- Understanding of banking regulations and compliance standards.- Strong project management skills and experience in Agile methodologies.
