Details of Previous Work Experience (Mandatory Requirement):
15 to 20 years of experience in Project Management and Pharma industry with core technical functions such as Formulation, Analytical development, Scale up, Process Engineering and Tech Transfer with exposure or inclination towards management disciple such as Project Management
Hands on experience in developing, scale up, tech transfer or process engineering of formulation projects with facilitating skills.
Knowledge of critical chain project management (CCPM) and scheduling software’s like Primavera/MS projects is desirable.
Job Description :
To lead a team of Project Managers to do the following:
1. The Project Manager would take ownership of the end to end project management for a cluster of pharma product development portfolio and ensure timely product registration. Responsible for planning, facilitating and delivering formulation development related activities according to the established goals, while fully aligned with API, Plant, Query & Launch PMs.
2. Responsible for establishing project documentation frame work and methodology
3. Manages and maintains the project budget and all project constraints i.e. time, cost, and quality standards.
4. Conduct periodic review meetings, daily huddles, monitors progress and periodically provides project updates.
5. Proactively identify risks, derive workaround option with consensus of product owners and manage project issues and deliverables
6. Must be able to facilitate discussions and broker consensus between multiple workstreams.
7. Must be able to define project acceptance and success criterion
8. Will work directly with the team members or with their leaders to estimate effort, plan activities and negotiate consensus among individual team members on their appointed tasks.
9. Must be able to use project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, Gantt charts, spreadsheets)
10. Responsible for bringing the project to closure, which may include creating an end of project report or evaluation document, holding 'Stagegate' meetings and activities, and capturing and using relevant lessons learned.
11. Should understand the technology being used in order to understand and question requests coming from specialists and technical staff and to evaluate what is reasonable or possible.
12. Must have an understanding of relevant methodologies, processes and standards and ensure that all project team members understand and follow these as well.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of critical chain project management (CCPM) and scheduling software’s like Primavera/MS projects is desirable.
- Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques and tools.
- Proven planning and organizing skills and Strong risk management skills
Behavioral Skills:
- Ability to influence a larger organization which does not directly report
