Job Overview

We are seeking a Production Incharge for our Home Textile unit in Karur. This full-time, mid-level position requires a professional with 4 to 6 years of work experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality standards, and managing the production team to meet organizational goals.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Production planning experience with the ability to organize and streamline production processes efficiently (Mandatory skill).
  • Proven expertise in quality control, ensuring that all products meet or exceed quality standards (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience in team management, capable of leading and motivating a production team to achieve high performance (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong skills in inventory management, maintaining optimal stock levels to support production needs.
  • Experience in process improvement, with a focus on driving enhancements in production efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in resource allocation, optimizing the use of materials, labor, and equipment to maximize output.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration and reporting across departments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the raw yarn to delivery production process, ensuring seamless operational flow.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete production process from raw yarn to finished product to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement production plans and schedules in collaboration with the production team and other departments.
  • Monitor production processes daily to ensure efficiency and adhere to company standards.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance with quality standards and rectify any deviations.
  • Coordinate with inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent production delays.
  • Lead and coach the production team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation for management review.
  • Identify areas for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance productivity and quality.
