Client Service & New Business Acquisition Manager

We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Client Service & New Business Acquisition Manager with 5 to 7 years of Advertising Agency experience for our Bangalore branch to manage client relationships while driving new business growth. This role requires a balance of maintaining exceptional client service and identifying new business opportunities to expand our company's reach.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Servicing Management:

  • Connect an agency's creative efforts with advertisers' needs, from leading a first meeting on a new account to researching media outlets for a campaign. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement. Understand client needs, expectations, and challenges to provide tailored solutions. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client requirements.
  • Research clients' products, services, plans, competitors and target markets. Meet clients for briefings and present proposals to clients for approval
  • Brief agency colleagues, and work with them to plan and implement the best advertising solutions for the client,
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Long hours are common, and advertising staff are expected to work flexibly to meet project deadlines.
  • Meeting clients to discuss strategy and report on progress, Handle client queries, feedback, and escalations with professionalism and efficiency. Responding to clients' requests as they arise
  • Taking part in pitches for new contracts, Keeping records and handling invoices.
  • Updating status reports for clients, receiving creative changes from clients, relaying those changes to creative staff.

New Business Acquisition:

  • Identify, target, and acquire new business opportunities to expand the company's portfolio.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and potential clients.
  • Prepare compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop tailored solutions for prospects.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of Advertising Agency experience in client servicing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple accounts efficiently.

Must have relevant past work experience in an advertising agency
