You will help shape how young players enter the sport, learn the game, and grow through their early development years. Working with schools, community centers, academies, and local institutions, you will help create the pipeline from which the next generation of footballers will emerge. This position is ideal for someone passionate about football, youth development, and community engagement. It offers the opportunity to influence how sport is taught, played, and experienced at the grassroots level—while contributing to a larger mission of holistic wellbeing for individuals, communities, and society.What you’ll do: Program Implementation & Operations Execute the Grassroots & Development Program to expand football participation and strengthen the sport’s presence at the community level. Build partnerships with training academies, schools, and other institutions essential for delivering grassroots initiatives. Create plans for infrastructure, resource allocation, and capability development to ensure the program is fully equipped and future ready. Coaching, Talent & Technical Development Lead the process for identifying, onboarding, and integrating coaches, athletes, and technical staff into the program. Support continuous upskilling of partnered grassroots entities through structured coaching development. Implement standardized coaching methods, assessment tools, data systems, and development pathways for players across different age groups. Competitions & Player Pathways Develop and deliver competitive opportunities for grassroots participants, including leagues, tournaments, and events. Ensure young players have access to structured, age-appropriate playing experiences that support long-term development. Engagement & Relationship Management Build strong relationships with athletes, parents, community partners, and external stakeholders to strengthen the reputation of Roundglass Football Development. Represent the program professionally in public and community settings. Program Monitoring & Reporting Track progress, performance indicators, and overall program success through regular reporting and reviews. Provide timely operational updates to the Roundglass Sports management team, highlighting developments that impact program delivery.Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with a recognized football coaching certification (AIFF / AFC / equivalent). 15+ years of professional coaching experience in football. Experience working with youth and/or senior players in a club or academy environment. Good understanding of modern coaching methods, performance analysis, and player development. Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to work well with different stakeholders. Clear and confident communication skills. Leadership ability with experience organizing teams and developing talent. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. High professional integrity and commitment to player wellbeing and growth.
