Work location: Bangalore

Work setting: hybrid work

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide COO office business management coverage for GFM across Sales, Trading, middle office, Risk, finance, product control and operations, with focus to drive the rollout of new products, projects and initiatives.
  • Drive the New Product Approval (NPA) process and New Product Development for the business managing the end-to-end delivery of the implementation and offering into clients.
  • Be the business lead for the system implementation and be the owner and lead from an end-to-end business perspective. Work with specialist technology teams and various stakeholders to drive the rollout of digital and system projects to enable these products within the bank and also enhancements to this product.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Key knowledge of Credit Default Swaps (CDS) across trading, sales, market and credit risk, finance, accounting, and operations.
  • Ability to drive changes - as key representative to liaise with other support, control, and business units to drive business initiatives including new product, systems and processes
  • Product and Sales governance - Drive various product and sales process review to ensure the relevant policy and regulations are fulfilled. Examples include product review for new regulations, annual product review, post implementation review
  • Represent the business to host or present in various related committees or meetings
  • Assist in the preparation of various documents to regulators on new products
  • Senior business analyst with 6 to 8 years' relevant experience in Global Financial Markets with a particular focus on Credit Markets.
  • Leadership experience in managing teams is preferred / Strong leadership and people management experience
  • In-depth knowledge of financial products with a particular focus on Credit Products.
  • Understanding of global market business flows, associated risk areas (regulatory, capital, market risk, credit risk, settlement etc.)
  • Proven ability to lead cross functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills and risk control sense
  • Experience with automation tool (e.g. VBA, Python) and data visualization tool (e.g. Tableau) is a plus.
