Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to work closely with our revenue cycle manager and drive financial performance through strategic billing practices. This role combines traditional healthcare billing expertise with cutting-edge AI technology to optimize claim processing, reduce denials, and maximize reimbursements across our healthcare network.Key Responsibilities Revenue Cycle Leadership Oversee end-to-end medical billing operations, from patient registration through final payment collection Manage billing team performance and productivity metrics, ensuring accuracy rates exceed 98% Develop and implement billing policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and best practices Monitor key performance indicators including days in A/R, collection rates, and denial percentages AI-Enhanced Operations Collaborate with our AI development team to optimize automated billing workflows and predictive analytics Leverage machine learning tools to identify billing patterns, predict claim outcomes, and prevent denials Train staff on AI-powered billing platforms and ensure seamless integration with existing systems Analyze AI-generated reports to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction Compliance and Quality Assurance Maintain current knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines Conduct regular audits of billing practices and implement corrective action plans Stay updated on healthcare regulation changes and adjust processes accordingly Team Management Lead, mentor, and develop a team of billing specialists and coding professionals Conduct performance evaluations, provide ongoing training, and support career development Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement Required Qualifications Technical Skills Proficiency with major practice management systems (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, or similar) Advanced knowledge of medical coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and revenue cycle management platforms Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, or data analysis tools Familiarity with AI/ML applications in healthcare preferred Core Competencies Deep understanding of insurance verification, authorization, and claims processing Proven track record of improving billing performance metrics and reducing A/R days Strong leadership and team development capabilities Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment Professional Growth Opportunity to work at the forefront of AI innovation in healthcare Access to cutting-edge technology and continuous learning resources Career advancement opportunities within a rapidly growing organization Conference attendance and certification maintenance supportHow to Apply Send us your portfolio/ resume at hr@combinehealth.ai along with these details: How many years of billing experience do you have What are some mistakes related to your work you have done in past and how did you overcome Why do you want to join CombineHealth
