With a team of more than 3,000 employees operating in 90 plus countries and a global network of over 35,000 experts, we help improve economies, societies and, most importantly, people's lives.Project Overview: Project Management Unit for Technical Support and Implementation of Comprehensive Disaster Planning, Mitigation, Management and Response for Disaster Management, Relief and Rehabilitation Department, Government of MaharashtraKey Responsibilities:- Lead coordination and execution of DRR initiatives at state and district levels. - Provide strategic advisory and technical guidance for project design and implementation. - Conduct HRVCA studies and support structural and non-structural mitigation planning. - Collaborate with techno-legal experts to enhance disaster-related policies and frameworks. - Facilitate partnerships with government departments, academic institutions, and research bodies. - Support integration of DRR and CCA measures into development plans and schemes. - Guide junior team members in data management and reporting. - Develop tools, training materials, and knowledge products for capacity building. - Monitor and report on progress of state mitigation action plans. - Organize community exposure visits and promote cross-sectoral learning.Qualifications & Experience:- Advanced degree in Disaster Management, Environmental Studies, Public Policy, or related field. - Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in DRR, climate adaptation, or public sector project implementation. - Strong understanding of HRVCA methodologies, policy analysis, and institutional frameworks. - Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder projects and lead cross-functional teams. - Excellent communication, analytical, and report-writing skills.Equity, Diversity & Inclusion:Palladium is committed to embedding equity, diversity, and inclusion into everything we do.
