This role is designed for individuals who have a solid foundation in software development and coding and are eager to contribute their skills to enhance rapid delivery of enterprise supply chain solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and utilize your technical expertise to contribute to the overall success of our organization by increasing the speed of test execution, maximizing automated coverage, extending product test coverage, facilitating early detection of defects, reducing errors and complexity in the test process, and providing predictability in the delivery process.We’d like this person to have the following skills/abilities:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field - 2-7 years of experience in software quality assurance or quality engineering - 2-7 years of experience in automation script development and proficient in one or more programming languages (C#/.NET and/or Python preferred) - 2-7 years of experience in Selenium WebDriver, expert-level proficiency - 2-7 years of experience in SQL - Deep understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkin, GitHub, Azure DevOps) - Hands-on experience testing RESTful APIs/microservices, with tools like Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI - Familiarity with containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Podman) a plus - Knowledge and experience testing in a cloud native environment - Familiarity with AI/ML testing tools or frameworks - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills - Passion for mentoring and continuous learningWhat?In this role, you would:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design test strategies, create detailed test plans, and ensure timely releases that meet and exceed quality expectations - Create and execute automation tests for UI, API, and backend aspects of cloud-based applications using programming languages like C# and Python - Identify, report, and track defects; then, work with development teams to ensure timely resolution - Generate test reports and metrics to communicate test results, risks, and areas for improvement - Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for seamless testing and deployment - Execute shift-left strategies to identify defects and quality risks earlier in the delivery process - Participate in continuous efforts to improve quality engineering processes, tools, and methodologies - Coach and mentor junior quality engineers in automation practicesWhat’s in it for you?Aptean offers competitive pay and robust benefit plans along with the opportunity togrow your career in a fast-paced, flexible and casual environment, an outstandingopportunity for career development and growth.About Aptean“At Aptean, our global and diverse employee base is our greatest asset.
