Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and customer-oriented Customer Service Executive with experience in freight forwarding and international logistics. The ideal candidate will handle customer interactions, coordinate shipments, and ensure smooth communication between internal teams and clients, especially for import and export operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding import/export shipments.
  • Handle customer queries related to freight forwarding, shipment tracking, documentation, and delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate with operations, documentation, and accounts teams to ensure timely updates to clients.
  • Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, and transporters.
  • Monitor and follow up on shipments to ensure prompt and accurate delivery.
  • Maintain and update customer records in CRM systems.
  • Provide after-sales support and address customer complaints or issues.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and share timely reports with clients regarding shipment status.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred: Logistics, International Business, Commerce).
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in customer service within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, INCOTERMS, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with CRM or logistics software is a plus.
  • Team player with strong problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Candidates currently based in or willing to relocate to Goa.
  • Experience working with international logistics, customs clearance, and freight documentation.
  • Familiarity with sea and air freight operations.
