The role involves end-to-end portal development, integration, and support, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and customize Liferay portals, portlets, themes, and WCM features. - Configure Liferay sites, organizations, permissions, and integrations. - Implement and maintain web services, logging, analytics, and audit features. - Ensure portal performance, usability, and adherence to best practices. - Troubleshoot technical issues and support deployments in production and non-production environments. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead offshore resources as needed.Requirements:- 5+ years Java/J2EE development experience with Spring/Hibernate. - 5+ years of hands-on Liferay development (Liferay 7.x DXP required). - Strong knowledge of OSGi, MVC design pattern, and enterprise system integrations. - Skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript for UI development. - Experience with code management, build, and deployment tools. - Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. - Insurance industry experience is a plus.
