Overview :We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MERN Stack Team Lead to drive the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications.The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in the MERN stack with proven leadership experience, guiding a team of developers to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions.This role requires hands-on coding, architectural decision-making, and team mentoring to ensure project Responsibilities : - Lead end-to-end development of web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing architectures and APIs.- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.- Review code, ensure adherence to best practices, and enforce coding standards across the team.- Mentor, coach, and guide junior and mid-level developers to strengthen technical delivery.- Manage sprint planning, task delegation, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and scalability.- Ensure DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated testing, containerization) are followed.- Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate them where relevant.- Coordinate cross-functional dependencies and drive continuous process Technical Skills :- Strong expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js (MERN stack).- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern web development practices.- Experience with Redux/Context API for state management in React.- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.- Experience with microservices architecture, API gateway, and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ).- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, and responsive design principles.- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools.- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and deployment strategies.- Understanding of NoSQL and SQL databases, indexing, and query optimization.- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress) and linting tools.- Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile Skills : - Experience leading distributed teams and managing remote collaboration.- Knowledge of serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Firebase).- Exposure to performance monitoring tools (New Relic, Datadog).- Understanding of security best practices (OAuth2.0, JWT, encryption).- Prior experience in e-commerce, fintech, or SaaS-based product : - Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- years of overall development experience with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.- Proven experience delivering scalable MERN-based solutions in Skills :- Strong leadership, people management, and mentoring capabilities.- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.- Ability to balance hands-on coding with team leadership and architectural We Offer : - Opportunity to lead high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment.- Exposure to modern technologies and innovative solutions.- Collaborative, growth-oriented work culture.- Competitive compensation and benefits package (ref:hirist.tech)
