Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IT Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to gather requirements, analyze processes, and ensure successful delivery of IT projects. This role demands strong communication, analytical thinking, and documentation skills to translate business objectives into functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities Gathering & Analysis :

- Engage with business stakeholders to understand needs, objectives, and challenges.

- Elicit, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

- Conduct gap analysis and propose process Design & Documentation :

- Translate business requirements into clear, concise, and comprehensive BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents), and user stories.

- Collaborate with solution architects and development teams to design effective IT solutions.

- Maintain requirement traceability throughout the project Management :

- Act as a liaison between business teams, IT teams, and third-party vendors.

- Conduct workshops, requirement review sessions, and demos with stakeholders.

- Manage expectations and ensure alignment between business needs and technical & Quality Assurance :

- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test cases, scripts, and acceptance criteria.

- Validate deliverables to ensure they meet business needs and quality & Change Management :

- Assist in project planning, risk assessment, and issue resolution.

- Document and manage change requests, ensuring minimal disruption to delivery Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

- 2-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects.

- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

- Proficiency in documentation tools (MS Office, Confluence, JIRA, or similar).

- Ability to create process flow diagrams, wireframes, and mock-ups.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving to Have :

- Experience in domains like Banking, Insurance, E-commerce, or ERP/CRM.

- Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation.

- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and data mapping.

- Certifications like CBAP, CCBA, or Agile BA.
