Job Title: Team Leader – Customer DevOps Engineering

Job Description:

We are looking for a Team Leader – Customer DevOps Engineering to lead and guide a team of DevOps engineers in building and maintaining cutting-edge security solutions. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, support team development, manage project delivery, and foster a collaborative environment. The role requires strong technical expertise in DevOps tools, observability, and security solutions to ensure smooth operations and top-tier customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

● Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of DevOps engineers, ensuring they meet performance goals and develop their skills.

● Technical Oversight: Provide hands-on guidance and technical support for key DevOps tasks, including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and ELK stack.

● Project Management: Oversee the development of platform extensions, integrations, and monitoring tools. Ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with Snowbit's technical and business objectives.

● Problem Solving: Actively troubleshoot complex issues related to security logs, regular expressions, Elasticsearch, and third party integrations. Work with the team to resolve technical challenges.

● Monitoring & Observability: Drive the team's efforts in building observability tools, Kibana dashboards, and ensuring smooth monitoring of security-related services.

● Customer-Focused Support: Ensure smooth delivery and integration of Snowbit's solutions to customers, addressing their unique security needs, and managing complex integrations.

● Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular performance evaluations, set clear objectives, and create growth plans for team members.

● CrossFunctional collaboration: coordinate with other teams (e.g., product, security, operations) to support broader business objectives and ensure seamless product integration.

Requirements:

Experience: 6+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.

Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and cloud platforms such as AWS.
Security Logs Knowledge: In Depth knowledge of the logs structure of firewalls, WAFs, web services, cloud services (AWS CloudTrail, GuardDuty), and SaaS platforms (GitHub, Google Workspace, Office365).
Observability & Monitoring: Experience in building monitoring tools, Kibana dashboards, andmanaging alerts using Lucene and regular expressions.
Strong Leadership: Proven track record of effectively leading and developing engineering teams.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues, particularly related to security and observability tools.
Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
