Chief GenAI Officer

Role Overview We are looking for a dynamic and execution-driven AI Head to lead our Data Science and AI initiatives, with a strong focus on Generative AI. This is a leadership role with direct visibility to CXOs and MD and a chance to shape the AI charter of a rapidly evolving financial institution.Key Responsibilities:-Lead AI Strategy: Define and drive the AI & GenAI roadmap aligned with business goals. Ability to find hidden usecases of GenAI to improve productivity and reduce risks.Build GenAI Capabilities: Develop use cases across customer engagement, automation, credit, fraud detection, personalization, and internal efficiency.Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists, ML engineers, and prompt engineers.Product & Delivery Focus: Translate POCs into production-ready scalable solutions. Ability to design systems that are reusable and require zero to no maintenance.Collaboration: Work closely with business, tech, compliance, and product teams to ensure AI aligns with regulatory norms and strategic needs.Innovation Evangelism: Champion AI adoption across Capri with training, demos, and pilot programs. Lead by Example.Tech Stack: Oversee tools and platforms including LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, etc.), vector DBs, ML pipelines, Python, and MLOps frameworks.Key Qualifications:-10+ years in Data Science/ML with at least 2 years in GenAI/LLM-based solutioning.Strong leadership and execution mindset – "gets things done" attitude is a must.Deep understanding of AI ethics, data privacy, and BFSI-specific challenges.Proven ability to conceptualize, build, and scale AI platforms and solutions.Prior startup experience or entrepreneurial mindset preferred.What We Offer:-Strategic ownership and CXO-level visibility.
