Data Pipeline Development
Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data is ingested, processed, and stored efficiently and reliably.
SQL & Database Management
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data warehousing and analytics.
Ensure data models are structured to support fast querying and clear data insights.
Looker Studio (Data Studio) Dashboards
Develop interactive dashboards and advanced data visualizations in Looker Studio.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into meaningful reports and user-friendly visuals.
Showcase examples of previous visualization work.
Python & Apps Script
Use Python for light scripting, data manipulation, and minor automation tasks.
Leverage Apps Script (where applicable) for additional workflow automation and integrations.
Data Quality & Governance
Implement best practices for data validation, error handling, and data lineage.
Contribute to data governance policies, ensuring compliance and consistency across pipelines.
Performance Optimization & Maintenance
Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and iterate for efficiency.
Document processes, maintain code repositories, and provide ongoing support for analytics tools.
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
SQL Expert : Demonstrable experience with advanced SQL (window functions, CTEs, query optimization).
Looker Studio / Data Studio : Proven track record of building dynamic dashboards and compelling data visualizations. Ability to share a portfolio or examples.
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) : Hands-on experience with GCP services (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow or Composer a plus).
Intermediate Python : Able to write scripts for data manipulation, small-scale automation, or API integrations.
Intermediate Apps Script : Comfortable automating tasks or integrating with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, etc.).
Nice-to-Have Skills
Familiarity with CI/CD practices for data pipelines (e.g., using GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Experience with other BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
Knowledge of container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) or infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
