Key Responsibilities : - Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements for complex systems- Create user stories, detailed use cases, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria- Collaborate closely with development, QA, product & architecture teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements- Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release planning- Develop and maintain process workflows, data flow diagrams, API documentation, ER diagrams- Translate business needs into functional and technical solutions; define system integrations, data flows- Work with stakeholders (business & technical) to prioritize requirements; manage scope changes and communicate impact- Conduct impact analysis for new initiatives and system changes- Participate in system design discussions; recommend improvements and best practices for system maintainability, scalability, performance- Mentor/junior analysts if applicable; help improve team standards of documentation, review, etc.Required Skills & Qualifications : - 5+ years experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role- Strong knowledge of full SDLC (Waterfall / Agile / Scrum)- Prior coding/scripting experience (e.g. at least one of : Java / Python / JavaScript / .NET / other), or experience writing scripts, working with APIs programmatically- Solid understanding of system integration, APIs, data flows, databases- Ability to write SQL queries (at least intermediate level)- Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence (or similar), wireframing/mockup tools (e.g. Figma, Balsamiq, Sketch)- Ability to draw technical diagrams (UML, sequence, flow, ER diagrams), wireframes- Strong analytical thinking, problem's olving, attention to detail- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non?technical stakeholdersNice to Have : - Exposure to cloud architectures / microservices- Experience with testing / UAT / automation tools (ref:hirist.tech)
