Compliance Specialist

HCL Software is a division of HCL Technologies (HCL) that operates its primary software business. At HCL Software we develop, market, sell and support over 20 product families in the areas of Customer Experience, Digital Solutions, Secure DevOps, Security Automation.
As a Compliance Specialist you will be responsible for defining, implementing, maintenance and
improvement of the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) program for cloud-based SaaS Services.
You will help drive the success of the business by accomplishing the following:
Maintain and review policies and procedures to align with the GRC program requirements.
Define, develop, and guide the continuous compliance assurance with many of the Compliance
standards such as ISO, SOC2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS.
Perform/coordinate internal audits to assess and maintain the cloud security posture against
regulatory and industry standards like SOC2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, HIPAA.
Develop, maintain, and review organization Business Continuity and Disaster recovery
processes, and help in conducting of annual validation or these processes.
Track mitigation of compliance gaps with control owners across multiple departments.
Define, implement, and perform monitoring of critical processes to detect potential issues with
compliance.
Respond to questionnaires and inquiries regarding the company’s compliance program for all
its cloud-based business.
Support investigations regarding audit findings, policy deviations and incident handling
activities.
Provide guidance on best practices, industry trends and upcoming regulatory changes to
improve the control environment.
Creation of detailed metrics that will support team services and provide visibility with trends,
control deficiencies and areas of improvement towards overall control effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
8-10 years’ experience with emphasis on compliance and risk management. Audit experience a
plus.
Demonstrated understanding of information security and compliance, audit principles and best
practices.
Experience with product vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, source code scanning
and/or source code reviews.
Deep understanding of compliance across multiple cloud platforms and technologies.
Knowledge in managing security and compliance program within an industry leading framework,
experience with legal and regulatory requirements and industry security frameworks.
Knowledge of privacy and IT regulations such as HIPAA, ISO 27K, PCI, SoC2.
Willingness to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a highly fast paced environment
requiring precision and detailing in critical and high-pressured scenarios.
Project planning, management and execution are strongly desired, along with ability to
communicate timely and efficiently.
Ability to work in shifts and co-ordinate with cross functional support teams across geo
locations.
Good communication and teamwork a must.
Location preference: Bangalore/Hyderabad/Noida/Pune
