Senior Accounts and Finance Manager

Job Responsibilities:


1) Accounting

  • Responsibilities for overall accounting, reporting and MIS
  • Ensuring accurate accounting as per the applicable accounting standards
  • Ensuring accurate & timely closing of monthly books of accounts
  • Focus on all daily and month-end accounting procedures for the accounts results including
  • P&L, Balance Sheet & cash flow management.
  • Managing and tracking various overheads, expenses, cost optimization
  • Provide value addition in internal financial controls, accounting policies, processes and
  • reporting.
  • Handling internal and statutory audits effectively
  • Responsible for daily fund flow planning, forecasting, budgeting, annual operational plan
  • Reviewing business performance and financial position.


2) Finance and Banking

  • Control cashflow, wallets, bank, credit cards and related documentation and compliance.
  • Liaison with Banks for limit sanctions, satisfy various information required by Banks
  • Compliance of various debt covenants
  • Reduce working capital interest cost by analysing various factors like RM requirement,
  • payables and receivables cycle etc
  • Treasury and fund management along with reporting
  • Responsibility for reconciliation of the same


3) Control and Process

  • Setting up SOP for various process in accounting
  • Preparing, implementing, and monitoring audit and control plan
  • Ensuring proper maker check process in place
  • Responsible for seamless implementation of SAP, data integration
  • Ensuring strong control over processes and continuous monitoring for improvement
  • Protecting company’s assets with strategic risk management approaches
  • Execute core financial processes including automated vendor payments, reconciliations,
  • administration of bank accounts and reconciliations.



4) Compliance including MIS

  • Ensuring and maintain compliance and compliance dashboard.
  • Ensuring compliance of all statutory requirements like GST, TDS, PF, PT etc
  • Ensure preparation of financial MIS regularly/monthly for investors & internal stakeholders


5) Other

  • Play a key role in business decisions by understanding the business relevant metrics,
  • carrying out financial analysis and providing strategic inputs.
  • Coordinating with various stake holders and reporting various functional items to the
  • management.
  • Leading, mentoring, and providing clear guidance to junior finance staff (approx. team size of
  • 5-6 people)
  • Building and nurturing relationships with key internal and external parties including banks,
  • auditors, and legal counsel
