Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Back End Developer. The Back End Developer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as back-end web development, software development, and object-oriented programming (OOP). Additionally, the Back End Developer will collaborate with front-end developers and work on projects that involve programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • DevOps Expertise: Implement and manage DevOps processes, including Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment and operation of our systems.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of backend developers, providing technical guidance and ensuring high-quality code delivery.
  • System Design: Collaborate with the architecture team to design scalable and efficient backend systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Backend Development: Dive into the entire application lifecycle, focusing on critical aspects of coding, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaboration and Agile Practices: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including app and frontend developers, to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, following Agile methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Software Development Experience: Accumulate 5+ years of proven experience in software development, with a track record of successful project contributions.
  • DevOps Skills: Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and system design, ensuring efficient deployment and operation of our systems.
  • Team Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Programming Proficiency: Hands-on proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Golang or Python, with a focus on clean and efficient code.
  • Queuing System and Database Proficiency: Experience with queuing and worker systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Celery) and databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), contributing to effective communication and data management.
  • Analytical and Time Management Skills: Excellent analytical abilities and effective time management skills to navigate complex tasks efficiently.
  • Agile Methodologies: Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery within the team.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, establishing a solid foundation for technical expertise.
  • Fintech Industry Experience: Previous experience in fintech startups, demonstrating a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in the sector.
