Overview :


- The ABAP, S4HANA, and CDS Developer plays a critical role in enhancing and supporting SAP systems within the organization.

- This position entails developing and maintaining complex ABAP programs, CDS views, and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.

- The ideal candidate must possess a deep understanding of the S4HANA architecture and how CDS views can be leveraged to boost data retrieval efficiency and reporting capabilities.

- This role is crucial for driving digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :


- Design and develop ABAP programs to support business needs.

- Create and manage CDS views to enable data aggregation and reporting.

- Conduct performance tuning of existing ABAP programs and CDS views.

- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions.

- Integrate OData services for external reporting and data consumption.

- Perform debugging and troubleshooting of ABAP code and functional issues.

- Enhance existing solutions based on user feedback and performance analysis.

- Ensure compliance with organizational coding standards and best practices.

- Participate in project planning and estimation activities.

- Support system upgrades, patches, and implementations of new features.

- Monitor system performance and analyze usage patterns.

- Stay updated with the latest S4HANA and SAP technologies.

Required Qualifications :


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in ABAP development.

- Hands-on experience with S4HANA implementations.

- Proficiency in creating CDS views and OData services.

- Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.

- Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 is a plus.

- Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud is advantageous.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
