About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Applications.
  • Engage in scholarly research and publish in reputed peer-reviewed journals (essential for tenure consideration).
  • Supervise and mentor students in projects, internships, and research work.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, pedagogy innovation, and academic planning.
  • Advise and coach students in academic and career development.
  • Engage actively in departmental, institutional, and university service activities.
  • Support and organize co-curricular and extra-curricular events.

Qualification Criteria

  • Essential: MCA (Regular) with minimum 60% marks.
  • Desirable: Ph.D. (awarded/pursuing).
  • Undergraduate degree (Regular) with minimum 60% marks.

Candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas will be preferred:

  • Web Development
  • Linux Administration
  • C, C++ Programming
  • Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA), Data Science (DS)
  • Database Systems / Advanced Database Management Systems (ADBMS)

  • Advanced Multimedia & Animation

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching.

  • Ability to handle modern teaching tools and technology-enabled pedagogies.
