KreditBee is India's largest fintech lending platform with a current monthly disbursement of over - 2200 Crores. It has 70 Million+ downloads on Google Play Store and over 85 Lakh unique loan customers. It offers various financial services digitally including but not limited to Personal Loans, Business Loans, Loan against property (LAP), DigiGold investment, Insurance, Credit Score Report, and Expense Tracker. The group entity has an in-house RBI registered NBFC, and is currently Series-D funded with marquee investors like Premji Invest, Advent International, Motilal Oswal Private Equity, MUFG and TPG-backed NewQuest, among others.
Job Summary:
The Business Head - Gold Loans will be responsible for leading and managing the gold loan business unit, developing strategies to drive growth, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing day-to-day operations. The role requires strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of the gold loan industry, and a proven track record of achieving business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the business strategy for the gold loan division to achieve the organization's objectives.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to capture market share.
- Set ambitious yet achievable goals and ensure alignment with overall company strategy.
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the gold loan business to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure all processes are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Implement best practices and operational standards across all branches.
Business Development:
- Drive business growth through customer acquisition, retention, and expanding the customer base.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to achieve business goals.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Financial Management:
- Manage the budget for the gold loan division and ensure financial targets are met.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Implement cost-control measures and optimize resource allocation.
Customer Service:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
- Implement customer feedback mechanisms to improve service quality.
- Develop and promote customer-centric policies and practices.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the gold loan business.
- Ensure robust security measures for the storage and handling of gold assets.
- Regularly review and update risk management policies and Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the gold loan Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent strategic planning and business development capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of gold loan products, services, and market dynamics.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in using financial and CRM software.
