ob Title: Production Support Engineer – SSIS ,SQL, Python, Automation & Scripting Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilledProduction Support Engineerto ensure the stability, availability, and performance of business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise inSQL ,Python , andautomation/scriptingto troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and enhance operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Monitor, maintain, and support production systems to ensure high availability and performance. Performroot cause analysisand resolve application, database, and infrastructure issues. Write and optimizeSQL queries , stored procedures, and scripts for data analysis and troubleshooting. DevelopPython scriptsand automation tools to streamline repetitive operational tasks. Create and maintainshell/PowerShell scriptsfor deployment, monitoring, and log analysis. Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and implement fixes. Participate inincident management ,problem management , andchange managementprocesses. Maintain detailed documentation of issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures. Implement proactive monitoring and alerting solutions to prevent downtime. Support release management and deployment activities in production environments. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency inSQL(query optimization, joins, indexing, stored procedures). Hands-on experience withPythonfor automation, data processing, and API integration. Proficiency inshell scripting(Bash, PowerShell, or similar). Familiarity withjob scheduling tools(e.g., Cron, Control-M, Autosys). Experience withversion control systems(Git, Bitbucket). Knowledge ofCI/CD tools(Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). Understanding ofLinux/UnixandWindowsenvironments. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure in a 24x7 production environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
