React + AI Developer (Part-Time, High Ownership Role)

Who We Are:

We're hiring a part-time developer to help build and scale Invoyce — a voice-powered invoicing and CRM platform for solo professionals and small service-based businesses.

We're live in beta and growing, and we're looking for a high-trust, high-output engineer who wants to help shape an ambitious product built on OpenAI, voice interfaces, and a mobile-first experience.

Role: React Native + AI Developer (Part-Time, Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Preferably Delhi/Gurgaon (Hybrid, some in-office), Remote possible

Time: ~15–20 hrs/week to start

What You'll Work On:

  • Help build and maintain our cross-platform mobile app (React Native)
  • Implement AI features using OpenAI APIs (GPT-4, Whisper)
  • Build contextual, memory-aware AI workflows (agentic flows, embeddings)
  • Integrate and maintain Supabase (Auth, Database, and Storage)
  • Support and enhance async voice → transcription → GPT workflows
  • Help plan and eventually build the web dashboard (React.js or Next.js)
  • Collaborate directly with the founder to ship features quickly and own the output

Tech Stack:

  • React Native
  • Supabase
  • OpenAI APIs (GPT-4, Whisper, Embeddings)
  • Stripe
  • Possibly Expo (used in current build – not required to start)
  • Web frontend (React.js or Next.js) coming soon

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong experience with React Native
  • Solid understanding of Supabase (or Firebase-style platforms)
  • Production-level experience with OpenAI APIs
  • Ability to design and debug async workflows (e.g., transcribe voice → call GPT → return output)
  • Basic understanding of agentic AI patterns, prompt design, and memory/context handling
  • Strong attention to performance, usability, and error handling

Bonus Skills:

  • Expo experience (if we use it, great; if not, easy to learn)
  • Experience working with early-stage startups or solo founders
  • Familiarity with AI modeling, token management, or vector stores
  • Experience with Stripe or mobile payments
  • Strong product thinking and user empathy

Time & Availability:

  • Minimum 15 hours/week to start
  • A mix of:
  • Set hours (2–3 days/week with some overlap between 9am–6pm EST)
  • Flexible/as-needed windows for bug fixes or urgent releases

Location:

  • Delhi/Gurgaon preferred (we have access to office space/Founder spends time in Delhi NCR)
  • Remote is fine for strong candidates who can communicate and deliver independently
