The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Excel functions, formulas, and advanced data analysis tools. This role will involve collaborating with various teams to support data-driven decision-making processes, enhance data quality, and optimize our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Perform detailed data analysis using Excel, including the creation of pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, INDEX/MATCH, and other advanced functions.
  • Data Management: Organize, clean, and maintain large datasets to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Reporting: Generate and automate regular reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.
  • Dashboards: Design and maintain Excel dashboards to visualize data trends and metrics in an easy-to-understand format.
  • Data Interpretation: Interpret complex data and provide clear, concise summaries to support business decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various departments (e.g., sales, marketing, operations) to understand their data needs and provide tailored analysis.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and improve data quality.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
  • Excel Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data validation, conditional formatting, and macros.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with data.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Experience in [industry-specific knowledge] is preferred but not required.
