Graviton is a privately funded quantitative trading firm striving for excellence in financial markets' research. We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our development team to implement and maintain high-quality frontend applications, contributing to our suite of data visualization and business intelligence tools.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality, responsive frontend applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Implement user interfaces using React.js, ensuring that application components are modular, reusable, and scalable.
  • Utilize TypeScript to enhance code quality and maintainability.
  • Integrate state management using Redux, ensuring efficient data flow within applications.
  • Implement data visualization components using D3.js (knowledge of Next.js as an added advantage).
  • Optimize product for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-6 years of professional experience in frontend development.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, TypeScript, Redux, and D3.js (Next.js is an added advantage).
  • Strong understanding of UI principles and best practices.
  • Experience with browser-based debugging and debugging performance bottlenecks
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement


Good to have:

  • Experience in Financial services space/ domain
  • Experience with data visualization using D3.js
  • Experience in and understanding of system design decisions
