Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Frontend Development: Spearhead all phases of the frontend development lifecycle, from conception through deployment. Ensure high performance, maintainable code, and a robust, user-friendly interface.
  • Architectural Design: Design and implement scalable and efficient frontend architectures. Make key technical decisions to guide project development.
  • Code Management: Manage and review pull requests (PRs) to maintain code quality and integrate frontend contributions effectively.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, designers, and product managers, to define and achieve project goals. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability. Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them.
  • Continuous Learning and Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging frontend technologies and methodologies to bring innovative ideas and solutions to the team.


Technical Skills:

  • Frameworks and Libraries: Profound expertise in React.js including hooks, higher-order components, and context APIs. Experience with additional frameworks like Next.js for server-side rendering, Angular for robust enterprise solutions, and Vue.js for progressive web applications is highly desirable.
  • State Management: Advanced understanding of state management libraries and patterns such as Redux for predictable state container, MobX for reactive state management, and the built-in Context API for lighter state needs within React applications.
  • JavaScript/TypeScript: Exceptional JavaScript ES6+ skills, and proficient in TypeScript for building maintainable, large-scale JavaScript applications. Understanding of functional and object-oriented programming paradigms.
  • HTML/CSS: Expert level knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, along with preprocessors like SASS or LESS, and frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap. Experience with CSS architecture patterns like BEM, SMACSS, or OOCSS is important.
  • Performance Optimization: Skills in optimizing frontend performance by understanding critical rendering path, leveraging code splitting, lazy loading components, and efficient handling of asynchronous data with AJAX or Axios.
  • Tooling and Build Systems: Proficient with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Rollup, or Parcel. Familiarity with NPM or Yarn for package management, and Babel for JavaScript transpiling.
  • Testing: Strong grasp of testing strategies including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Selenium.
  • Accessibility (a11y): Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices (WCAG, ARIA) to ensure applications are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.
  • Responsive Design: Skilled in creating fluid and flexible layouts that work on any device. Understanding of modern CSS layout techniques like Flexbox and CSS Grid.
  • Version Control: In-depth experience with version control systems, particularly Git, for branching, merging, pull requests, and managing code across distributed teams.
  • Security: Awareness of common security concerns in frontend development such as XSS, CSRF, and methods to mitigate risks using content security policies and other modern security practices.


Additional Skills:

  • Blockchain Understanding: Basic knowledge of blockchain principles and technologies is highly desirable.
  • Backend Familiarity: Understanding of backend development, preferably with experience in Golang, Node.js and frameworks like Express.js.
  • Cloud and DevOps: Experience with AWS services and containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Security Practices: Awareness of frontend security practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in frontend development with a proven track record of successful project leadership.
  • Demonstrable experience with the listed frontend technologies and project management tools.
