Job Title: Rubber Technologist / Polymer Engineer / Material Scientist

Location: Ghaziabad (Dasna)

Mandatory Qualifications
  • Masters or PhD in Rubber/Polymer Science & Technology
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience with natural rubber products, preferably in R&D roles or with hands-on experience with end applications
Job Responsibilities
  • Compounding and designing recipes for rubber products
  • Testing and analysis across all parameters in own lab
  • Ensuring best practices are followed in production
  • Developing new products through innovation and experimentation
  • Optimizing existing and new developments to improve processing & performance
  • Independently researching and pushing R&D to meet desired results
  • Sourcing raw materials for R&D
  • Conducting raw material testing and QC for production
  • Communicating with partner labs, production team, and material teams to close the loop on developments
  • Maintaining records of testing results and research trials for future developments
  • Implementing and monitoring Quality Control systems
  • Improving consistency in existing developments through root cause analysis
  • Identifying and solving problems on the floor and in the lab
  • Creating new product recipes, compounding ingredients, and standard testing procedures for natural rubber and other bio-polymers
  • Managing projects on a timeline and collaborating across cross-functional teams
  • Addressing technical challenges independently and being self-motivated

A Blunt Story (Chance Operations Pvt Ltd) is developing sustainable solutions for footwear and allied industries. We are incubated at a partner factory with access to their in-house capabilities including testing lab, mixing mill, injection moulding, and DIP.
