Position: Rubber technologist / Polymer engineer / Material Scientist

Location: Ghaziabad (Dasna) 

Mandatories

- Masters or PhD in Rubber/Polymer science & technology.

- Should have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience with natural rubber products preferably within R&D roles or with hands-on experience with end applications.


Job Description

- Compounding and Designing recipes for rubber products 

- Testing and analysis across all parameters in own lab 

- Set and ensure best practices are followed in production. 

- Hands-on approach to innovation and willingness to roll up their sleeves to experiment and develop new products. 

- Optimising existing and new developments to improve processing & performance.

- Independently research and push R&D to meet desired results. 

- Raw material sourcing for R&D 

- Raw material testing and QC(inwards) for production. 

- Communicate with partner labs, production in charge, and material teams to close the loop on developments. 

- Maintain records of testing results and research trials in an organised manner for future developments. 

- Implementing & Monitoring Quality Control systems 

- Improving consistency in existing developments through root cause analysis

- problem identification on the floor and in the lab and a problem-solving attitude 

- Experienced in creating new product recipes, compounding ingredients, and standard and testing procedures for Natural rubber and other bio-polymers. 

- Very organised to manage projects on a timeline. 

- Be able to work collaboratively in an effective manner across cross-functional teams to test, and commercialise the developments. 

- The ideal candidate is an independent thinker and self-motivated to address technical challenges.

A Blunt Story (Chance Operations Pvt Ltd) is developing sustainable solutions for footwear and allied industries. We are incubated at a partner factory with access to their in-house capabilities including testing lab, mixing mill, injection moulding, and DIP. 

Our developments have been awarded and showcased at International fairs and featured in Financial Express, and Voice of Fashion amongst other industry-specific titles and met with enthusiasm both domestically and internationally. We hope to build on this success with new developments.
