Agriculture or Horticulture (Ph.D. preferred)About Bharat IntelligenceBharat Intelligence is building the Thinking Engine for Bharat — an AI-powered platform digitising India’s horticulture economy.Backed by Sahyadri Farms, we’re solving the farm labour and input distribution challenge through data, automation, and vernacular engagement.Our mission is simple: use AI and local context to deliver the right input, at the right time, to every farmer — starting with grapes, banana, tomato and onion.Role ObjectiveWe already have the agronomy playbooks — now we need to turn them into action. Your role is to convert advisory calendars and packages of practices into commerce and communication flows that farmers can act on via our WhatsApp AI bot, IVR system, and call centre.You’ll ensure that every message, campaign, and recommendation is agronomically sound, commercially relevant, and easy for farmers to understand.Key Responsibilities- Advisory → Commerce: Translate crop calendars and POPs into weekly product promotions, input bundles, and advisory messages aligned to crop stage and geography. - Messaging & Content: Draft and review Marathi-first content for accuracy, timing, and farmer clarity. - Product Promotion: Identify which inputs (fertilisers, biologicals, protection products, tools) should be highlighted each week and ensure technical correctness. - Campaign Coordination: Work closely with the marketing and customer-support teams to schedule WhatsApp broadcasts, outbound calling, and follow-ups. - AI Training: Support the product team with correct agronomy logic, FAQs, and response flows for the AI engine. - Performance Review: Track engagement metrics (open rate, call conversion, repeat orders) and recommend tweaks in message sequencing or product bundling. - Farmer Education: Ensure all digital advisory content maintains accuracy, brand tone, and local credibility.Ideal Candidate- 5+ years’ experience in horticulture crop input sales, technical marketing, or digital agronomy. - Strong understanding of grapes, banana, tomato, and citrus production cycles and corresponding input needs. - Proven ability to translate agronomy language into simple, actionable farmer communication. - Experience working with ag-input companies, agchem brands, or FPC-linked advisory programs. - Comfortable working on WhatsApp Business, CRMs, campaign dashboards, and AI chat flows. - Fluent in Marathi (essential); English and Hindi preferred. - Commercial mindset — understands product margins, bundling, and seasonal demand cycles.-What We Offer✅ High-impact role converting advisory into digital commerce at scale.✅ Work at the intersection of agriculture, AI, and communication.✅ Competitive salary + performance incentives linked to farmer engagement and input adoption.✅ Fast-track growth to Input Strategy / Agri Commerce Lead.To Apply:Send your CV and a short voice or video intro (in Marathi or English) describing your horticulture and input experience to careers@bharatintelligence.aiSubject: Senior Agronomist – Horticulture (Commerce & Messaging)
