About the role:  

This role is an important part of the finance and accounting team at BuyerForesight. Will report directly to the VP of Finance and will have core responsibility of maintaining the books of accounts on a regular and accurate basis in Tally( for India entity) and Xero (for global entities) of BuyerForesight. The role will have  direct access to the leadership team of the company including global stakeholders - hence good and articulated communication along with ability to explain finance in a lucid manner to non-finance people is also critical. The role will also provide opportunity to design/modify existing finance processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness of the function


Responsibilities:

  • Have complete responsibilities for daily accounting for all entities of Buyer Foresight in Xero and Tally
  • Complete responsibility for Indian books of accounts - incl. Audit.
  • Should be able to handle Statutory Audits in India.
  • Very good knowledge of GST, Tax, PF, TDS, compliance and all other statutory provisions in India
  • Methodical, calm and level headed personality who can work both independently and in team
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English
  • To be based in Kolkata office - on site 5 days a week


Qualification:

  • Qualifications - B Com or M Com with strong practical knowledge of working in professional set-ups and preferably from Kolkata
