About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with experience in both manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate will ensure that our applications are reliable, functional, and deliver an exceptional user experience. You will collaborate closely with product and development teams, taking ownership of the QA process and contributing ideas to improve testing practices as the product evolves.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform manual testing to identify UI/UX issues, functionality bugs, and usability gaps.

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

- Test APIs using Postman and validate backend functionalities.

- Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure complete test coverage.

- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team.

- Identify, log, and track bugs in issue tracking tools.

- Continuously research and implement new testing tools, techniques, and best practices to improve QA efficiency.

- Contribute to building and scaling QA systems and processes as the company grows.

Requirements :

- 3+ years of experience in both manual and automated testing.

- Hands-on experience with Postman, Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools.

- Ability to understand product requirements and test from the users perspective.

- Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and suggest process improvements.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with performance testing (e.g., JMeter).

- Basic scripting or programming knowledge (Python, JavaScript, etc.).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into deployment workflows.
