Provide effort estimates and development plans for assigned tasks. Design and implementSmartCOMM templates, data models, and communication artefacts . Perform code/configuration changes and implement communication customizations. Execute unit testing and Pre-Prod (Sandbox) validations; support QA testing cycles. Triage and resolve defects raised by QA for Personal Lines forms and General Claims. IntegrateSmartCOMM outputs with Guidewire Policy/Billing and other backend systems . Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder communications. Prepare technical documentation and handover notes for deployments.Requirements: 4–6 years of hands-on experience as aSmartCOMM Developer . Practical experience with Guidewire Policy (config/integration) and Guidewire Billing. Strong understanding of theSmartCOMM communication lifecycle: template design → data model changes → testing → deployment . Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Good analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and in teams. Effective verbal and written communication skills.Good To Have: Candidates with these additional skills on their resumes have an added advantage when their profiles are being assessed. Some of them are as follows: Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins / Azure DevOps). Cloud exposure (AWS / Azure) and experience integrating testing with CI/CD pipelines. Guidewire experience across Personal & Commercial lines.
