Description :Role : Group Lead - Data EngineeringExperience : 15 - 18 YearsCTC : up to 90 LPA (including variable)Location : Ahmedabad (Work from office, Hybrid)Are you a data visionary ready to drive transformation at scale?My client is a GCC and is looking for an exceptional Group Lead Data Engineering to join their Global Capability Center (GCC) in India. This role is at the heart of their digital evolution shaping how they harness data to power smarter, faster, and more impactful decisions across the enterprise.What Youll Do :- Lead and mentor cross-functional data engineering teams to design, develop, and optimize scalable data products.- Architect frameworks for data ingestion, processing, integration, and governance across global platforms.- Champion best practices, automation, and quality standards for data engineering at scale.- Drive collaboration across Product, Business, and IT teams to deliver insight-driven outcomes.- Explore and implement new tools and technologies that enhance our cloud data ecosystem (Azure preferred).What Were Looking For :- 15 - 18 Years overall experience with 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related fields.- Expertise in Python, SQL, and modern cloud data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.).- Hands-on experience with DevOps/DataOps, automated testing, and agile delivery.- Strong technical leadership skills with a passion for coaching and scaling high-performing teams.- Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, or Looker.
