*Job Summary:*


Prema Restaurant is seeking an experienced and innovative Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fine dining establishments and a passion for creating contemporary Indian cuisine. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, creativity, and the ability to adapt and innovate while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.


*Key Responsibilities:*


1. *Menu Development:*

- Create and update modern Indian cuisine menus that align with the restaurant’s vision.

- Innovate and introduce new dishes while ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.


2. *Kitchen Management:*

- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Manage and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.


3. *Quality Control:*

- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.

- Conduct regular quality checks and implement necessary improvements.


4. *Inventory and Budget Management:*

- Monitor stock levels and manage inventory effectively.

- Control food costs and minimize waste through efficient kitchen practices.


5. *Collaboration and Communication:*

- Work closely with the restaurant management to align kitchen operations with overall business goals.

- Communicate effectively with staff and management in both English and Hindi.


6. *Customer Engagement:*

- Interact with guests to gather feedback and ensure customer satisfaction.

- Develop new culinary experiences to attract and retain customers.


*Qualifications:*


- *Experience:* Minimum of 1-2 years as a Head Chef in a fine dining establishment.

- *Cuisine Expertise:* Strong background in regional Indian cuisines with a willingness to adapt to modern Indian styles.

- *Communication:* Excellent command of English and Hindi, both verbal and written.

- *Leadership:* Proven leadership and team management skills.

- *Creativity:* Ability to innovate and create unique, high-quality dishes.

- *Adaptability:* Willingness to learn and incorporate new culinary trends and techniques.
