Description: The GM Taxation will be responsible for all aspects of taxation for various entities and individuals in The Family Office, covering compliance, planning and strategy. This role requires a critical thinker and tax planner with deep experience in Indian and US Taxation. The candidate should have deep knowledge of direct and indirect tax framework in India and US federal and state tax laws.- Develop and implement tax strategies for all individuals and entities within the Family Office. - Ensure on-time and accurate filings and compliance in all jurisdictions and individuals/entities. - Maintain an optimized ETR for all taxable entities. - Monitor changes in tax legislations, assess impact and pre-emptively implement risk mitigation strategies. - Plan and recommend on tax implications on business decisions, new investments and structuring changes. - Co ordinate and work with external advisors for compliance and advise on transactions. - Excellent Critical and Strategic thinking coupled with strong execution skills - Strong analytical skills. - Excellent leadership skills and interpersonal skills. - Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems. - Excellent decision-making skills.
