You will play a key role in guiding product strategy, training models, and aligning AI outputs with financial industry standards.Role OverviewAs a Structured Finance Specialist, you will collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to ensure our AI platforms, such as Collatio® for Financial Spreading, Loan Ops Automation, and Invoice Reconciliation. Reflect real-world financial logic, terminology, and accuracy. You will shape how complex financial data is interpreted and operationalized across large-scale enterprise environments.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct & Use Case Alignment- Guide the development of financial automation use cases such as balance sheet spreading, contract reconciliation, and due diligence. - Translate structured finance domain expertise into actionable logic for AI-based automation. - Define financial data hierarchies, ratios, and reconciliation rules to train proprietary algorithms.Domain Expertise & Training- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to refine model outputs using domain ontologies and business rules. - Evaluate the accuracy of AI-driven financial insights and participate in model training feedback loops. - Ensure outputs align with industry-standard practices across commercial lending, NAV validation, financial statement analysis, etc.Customer Enablement- Support customer onboarding and success teams with financial workflow mapping and customization. - Participate in client workshops and pilot phases to align AI capabilities with user expectations. - Provide insights into regulatory and compliance needs in structured finance environments.Product Strategy- Drive roadmap inputs based on industry trends in financial automation and credit analytics. - Create functional specifications and use case documents for new AI features and enhancements. - Validate models for use in sectors such as banking, asset management, insurance, and fintech.Required Qualifications & Skills- Experience in structured finance, financial operations, or credit analytics. - Deep understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, and regulatory documents. - Familiarity with financial systems and tools (e.g., Moody’s, Bloomberg, Excel models). - Prior experience in collaborating with product/engineering teams is a plus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills to convey financial logic to non-finance stakeholders.Our Ideal Candidate- Has worked in structured finance roles at banks, PE firms, or financial advisory firms. - Understands the nuances of digitizing, analyzing, and verifying financial documents at scale. - Brings a unique blend of financial expertise and curiosity about AI-powered transformation. - Enjoys working cross-functionally with product managers and data science teams. - Believes in data integrity, traceability, and actionable intelligence in financial processes.Tip for CandidatesIf this role resonates with your experience and ambitions, follow our page for similar job opportunities and more insights into how AI is redefining structured finance across global enterprises.
