Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Franchise Development Manager to lead the expansion of our franchise network. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and recruiting qualified franchisees, managing the franchise sales process, and ensuring alignment with the company’s growth strategy. This role requires strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with potential franchisees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Franchise Development & Recruitment:
- Identify potential franchisees through research, networking, and outreach programs.
- Present the franchise opportunity to prospective franchisees, including business model, financial expectations, and operational requirements.
- Evaluate franchise candidates through interviews, financial assessments, and compatibility with the brand values.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive franchise development strategy in line with the company's goals.
- Identify and target high-potential markets for expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure franchise opportunities align with overall business objectives.
- Franchise Sales Process Management:
- Guide prospects through the entire franchise acquisition process, from initial contact to signing the franchise agreement.
- Ensure all required documentation and compliance standards are met during the onboarding process.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with current and potential franchisees.
- Act as a primary point of contact to address inquiries and provide support during the pre-opening phase.
- Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competition in the franchising landscape.
- Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing the franchise model and strategy.
- Compliance & Branding:
- Ensure all franchisees adhere to the company’s operational, branding, and legal standards.
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure franchise agreements comply with local regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in franchise development, business development, or sales, preferably in a related industry.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and managing franchise networks.
- Strong understanding of franchise laws, agreements, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel frequently to meet potential franchisees and explore new markets.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and market analysis software.
