Manual Tester (Performance Testing Specialist)


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Manual Tester with strong expertise in Performance Testing to join our Quality Assurance team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our applications through comprehensive testing methodologies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Execute manual test cases and perform exploratory testing
  • Design and execute performance tests using JMeter
  • Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
  • Analyze performance bottlenecks and provide optimization recommendations
  • Document and report test results, defects, and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve identified issues
  • Participate in test planning and estimation activities
Required Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in manual software testing
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with JMeter and performance testing
  • Strong knowledge of performance testing concepts (load testing, stress testing, endurance testing)
  • Experience in creating and analyzing performance test scripts
  • Proficiency in test case creation and execution
  • Familiarity with test management tools and bug tracking systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
