Job Description- Software Support Specialist
- Qualification: Engineering Graduate in Computer Science Engineering/ Electronics & Communication/Instrumentation/Information Science / Information technology
- Experience: 4 - 8 years
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Analyst with a strong background in providing support for .NET applications. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues related to .NET-based applications. As part of the support team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the applications function smoothly and efficiently in a production environment while providing high-quality customer service to end-users and collaborating with development teams.
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of .NET Framework and .NET Core (ASP.NET, WinForms, WPF).
- Familiarity with C# and understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Proficiency in working with SQL Server (querying, troubleshooting database issues, and basic DB management).
- Knowledge of IIS (Internet Information Services) and its configuration for web applications.
- Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git, TFS).
- Understanding of web services and APIs (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML).
- Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms is a plus.
Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:
- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills to identify, analyse, and resolve issues quickly.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests simultaneously.
- Strong root-cause analysis and issue resolution skills.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Customer service-oriented with a focus on providing high-quality, timely solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with development, testing, and infrastructure teams.
- Proactive attitude, with a focus on preventing issues before they occur.
